Rachna is upset as Dayal was angry at her. She recollects the incident wherein Dayal and Shail had got furious at her after learning about Mintu. Gunjan tries to pacify Rachna.

Dayal and Gopal visit Mintu's house to confront him. A furious Gopal and Dayal warns Mintu not to misbehave with Gunjan and Rachna in future. They also threaten to lodge a complaint against Mintu, if he repeats his mistake. Before leaving, Dayal requests Mintu's parents to make their son understand.

After leaving from Mintu's house, Gopal tries to convince Dayal to forgive Rachna.

Shail is concerned about Gunjan and Rachna. She questions Rachna why didn't she inform her about Mintu's behavior, earlier. Gunjan intervenes and tells Shail that Rachna was scared of the family. She adds that Rachna was confident that the family would never understand her, instead hold her guilty.

Gunjan explains to Shail that Mintu could trap Rachna as he was aware that she was scared of her family. She tries to make Shail realize that Rachna was innocent. Gunjan tells Shail that they should help Rachna to build up self-confidence to fight against injustice.

Seema, Sangeeta and Dayal's sister fear that Gunjan may influence Rachna. Seema also curses Gunjan. At that time, Shail overhears their conversation and feels hurt.

Gunjan finds Rachna upset. She seeks Dholu's help and cheers up Rachna.

Gunjan asks Rachna to come downstairs for dinner. Rachna refuses as she fears that the family would never forgive her.  

Shail is worried as Dayal has not yet returned home.
