Queen Kaikeyi, Kausalya and Sumitra are discussing how they are going to welcome the princes. Before leaving from the Gurukul, Ram and his brothers look around Gurukul where they had spent most of their childhood.  Ram and his brothers receive Gurumata's blessings before leaving the Gurukul.

The subjects of Ayodya praise Ram as he enters the city. Gurudev Vashihst accompanies the princes as they enter the palace. King Dasarath, Queen Kaikeyi, Kausalya and Sumitra embrace Ram and his brothers as they enter the palace.

Shatrugna informs the queens that Gurumata took care of Ram and Ram took care of him and his brothers during their stay at the Gurukul.

King Dasarth and Gurudev Vashist get shocked when Sage Visvamitra states that he wants to take Ram with him to protect his ashram from the demons. King Dasarth hesistanly allows Sage Visvamitra to take Ram along with him.
