The minister orders Aarti to phone Yash and ask him where he had taken Neelam along with him. Aarti tells the minister and his wife that Yash disconnected her call.
At that moment, Neelam and Yash enter the house. Neelam tells her parents that she had selected few lenghas. Neelam's mother enquires with Neelam where the dresses where. Neelam smartly handles the situation.
Aarti realizes Neelam was lying about everything. Before Aarti and Yash could leave, Neelam stops him and asks him whether he remembered her promise. Neelam lies to the family that she had asked Yash to arrange a heart shaped broach for her.
On their way home, Aarti gets irritated when she spots a strand of hair and lipstick mark on Yash's t-shirt. She decides to ask Yash about it; however she is unable to utter a word about it. Aarti decides to take Prateik's help as she could not ask Yash directly about it.
Late at night, Prateik goes and enquires with Yash regarding his apprehension. Yash reveals that he was thinking about Neelam. Aarti, who is standing outside the room, gets shocked on hearing it.
A restless Aarti is not able to sleep all throughout the night.
The next morning, Aarti builds courage and decides to enquire about the lipstick mark. Under the pretext of washing the t-shirt, Aarti enquires with Yash regarding the lipstick mark. Yash recollects that Neelam fell on him when he stopped her from jumping off the cliff. Yash ignores Aarti's question and tells her that the had to go to the minister's house
As promised to Neelam, Yash goes to talk to her mother. Yash tries to convince Neelam's mother that she must consider Neelam's happiness and stop the marriage. He requests Neelam's mother to stop the marriage as Neelam was in love with Kunal. Neelam and Aarti are eave dropping on their conversation.
Neelam's mother fumes in anger and is about to shoot Yash. Neelam stop her. Aarti Neelam's mother points the gun at Yash again. Aarti requests Neelam's mother to forgive Yash. She assures Neelam's mother that Yash would not interfere in their personal matters.
Neelam's mother angrily tells Aarti to keep Yash in control. Aarti signals to Yash that she was sorry for shouting at him.
Neelam's mother threatens Yash that she would kill him if he tried to interfere in her family matter. Keeping the intensity of the situation in mind, Aarti takes Yash along with him.
Aarti tells Yash that he is her husband and hence she cares about him. She quickly changes her statement that the family requires him and so she did not want him to interfere in Neelam's matter.
Yash tells Aarti that he had promised Neelam that he would get her married to Kunal. He tells her that he takes Neelam as his sister and wanted to keep her happy. He asks Aarti to return as he does not want to put her life in danger. Yash thanks Aarti for saving his life.
Aarti tells Yash that she would help him in fulfilling his promise.
