In the school when Ansh starts reading his speech, his classmates make fun of him as he insults his teacher in his speech. The teacher gets furious at Ansh and refuses to select him for the inter school debate competition. Ansh feels hurt as he believes that Yash had purposely written such speech for him.
Aarti and Yash are confident that Palak and Ansh would perform well and get selected for the competition. Aarti tells Yash that he was a role model for Ansh. The couple believes that they would accomplish their purpose of getting remarried after Palak and Ansh get selected.
During drawing class, the teacher asks the class to draw their family sketch. The teacher gets shocked when she sees Palak drawing devil horns on her mother's sketch. When the teacher questions Palak about it, he asserts that her step mother (Aarti) was a devil.
Meanwhile, Ansh portrays his step father (Yash) as a goon. Ansh and Palak argue with each other. Meanwhile, the School Principal arrives and overhears the argument. He decides to summon Ansh and Palak's parents immediately to meet him.
Aarti panics when Yash informs her that the school has summoned them.
Pratik wonders where Paridi was headed and therefore follows her. He gets surprised when Paridi goes to her mother's place. Meanwhile, Paridi's mother tells her not to pay heed to Pratik and do whatever she wants.
When Aarti and Yash go to meet the School Principal, he informs the couple about Ansh and Palak's behavior in the class. He holds the couple responsible for their children's behavior. He questions the couple about their relationship with each other. The Principal complains that Palak could not give a speech in front of the class. Aarti informs the Principal that Palak had practiced the speech at home. She assures to make Palak practice for the competition. Aarti requests the Principal to give Palak one chance to prove herselr.
The couple gets disappointed when the Principal informs them that Ansh too was not selected for the debate competition. The couple gets shocked when they learn that Ansh insulted his teacher in the speech.
When Yash reads the speech, he wonders who must have changed Ansh's speech and why.
Yash tries to prove Ansh innocent and asserts that someone had purposely changed the speech. He adds that Ansh respects his teachers and would never insult them. Yash requests the principle to give a chance to Ansh. He also assures to get Ansh prepared for the competition.
The principle gives a chance to both Palak and Ansh to participate in the competition. He advises the couple to keep the children away from their personal tensions.
