In the previous episode, Ovi got angry when Manav pacified Archana by embracing her.
Archana notices Ovi's expression and quickly leaves Manav. Manav assures Archana that he would give the money to the kidnappers and get Purvi back. Ovi gets irritated when Manav states that Purvi is like his daughter.
Just before Manav could leave, Ovi stops him and tells him not to help Purvi. She states that Purvi had ruined her life and hence he should not help her. Manav tells Ovi that Purvi was kidnapped because of him and he would not be able to forgive himself if anything happened to her. Savita consoles Ovi and tells her that Manav should help Purvi in her hour of plight.
When Manav notices the police heading towards the temple, he asks everyone not to inform them about Purvi's kidnapping. Everyone present in the temple does as per Manav's instructions. Manav informs the inspector that he was going to the Karanjakar house for a family function.
DK gets apprehensive when he spots Arjun showing Purvi's photograph to people outside the temple. He convinces Arjun to accept the fact that Purvi was kidnapped and pacifies him.
The Deshmukhs along with Arjun and DK go to the Karanjakar house. Tejaswini consoles Sulochana and asks her to calm down.
Concerned about Purvi, Savita refuses to go home. She goes to Damodar asks him to console Archana. As per Savita's request, Damodar goes to Archana to console her. Archana tells Damodar not to console her.
At that time, Vishnu calls Manav up. Manav tells Vishnu that he is ready to pay him the money. He tells Vishnu that he wanted to talk to Purvi. Manav gets furious when he learns that Purvi was chloroformed.
Late at night, Vishnu calls Balan up and informs him how the gang members kidnapped Purvi. Balan gets elated when Vishnu tells him that he had asked Rs 3 crore as ransom.
Manav tells Arjun that they should not inform the police as he does not want to put Purvi's life in trouble. The inspector, who is standing outside the Karanjakar residence, overhears their conversation. He suspects that something was wrong and so he orders two constables to keep a watch on Manav's family.
When Purvi gains consciousness, she gets terrified to see Vishnu and his gang members. One of the gang members slaps Purvi. Vishnu tells Purvi how she got kidnapped instead of Ovi. Purvi warns Vishnu that her family would not spare him.
At that time, Vishnu calls Manav up. Manav puts the call on speaker. A terrified Purvi tells Manav to save her. Manav assures Purvi that he would rescue her. Ovi gets furious when Arjun takes the phone from Manav's hand and tells Purvi that he would save her as he loves her.
Arjun gets angry when Vishnu passes a remark on him and Purvi. Vishnu ends the conversation by telling Manav to arrange the money by the subsequent morning.
