In the previous episode, Ovi got furious when Archana informed the Deshmukhs that she would get Purvi married to Arjun.

An upset Ovi tells Manav that when Arjun was in Canada, he had promised to marry her. Archana gets upset when Manav stops her from entering Ovi's room. She gets further upset when Tejaswini shuts the door.

Savita insults Archana and tries to make her realize that she had committed a blunder by making the decision. She reminds Archana that after 15 days, she would get divorced from Manav. She ends the conversation by telling Archana, that she should have thought about Ovi's feelings before making her decision.

Archana goes to the Karanjakar house and tells Arjun and Purvi that she has accepted their relationship. She tells Arjun that DK had informed her that he had spent his money on Churan's treatment. Arjun gets elated when Archana states that she has agreed for his and Purvi's marriage.

As Varsha steps in Mumbai, she gets apprehensive as she recollects the moments she spent with her family.

Later, Sulochana asks Archana how Manav and Savita reacted over her decision. Archana sadly tells Sulochana that Manav is upset with her while Savita and Tejaswini had insulted her. She adds that Ovi's hatred towards her had increased after hearing her decision. Sulochana tries to pacify Archana as she cries inconsolably.
