In the August 31 episode of Pavitra Rishta aired on Zee TV, Jaywant asks Archana if she had spoken to Dharmesh about their marriage. Archana reveals to him that though she had nothing against him, she was not ready to marry again.

Manav arrives at Karanjakar residence and requests to speak to Archana. When alone, Manav asks Archana to marry Jaywant. Archana refuses to marry again and warns that he can not compel her to do something against her wishes. With no option left, Manav informs Archana that if she doesn't agree to the marriage proposal, he too would cancel his wedding with Shravani. Archana is left speechless by Manav's ultimatum.

Dharmesh invites his factory staff for Janmashtami celebrations at his house. When Vaishali informs Dharmesh that she was yet to find a child to dress as Balgopal, Archana suggests Sachin's name. Dharmesh asks Manav to bring Sachin and he readily agrees.

While strolling through the market, a hooligan throws a water balloon at Shravani. Enraged by the incident, Ajit reprimands the hooligan. The issue snowballs into a fight between Ajit and the hooligan and his group. Ajit suffers an injury to his forehead. A frightened Vandita rushes him to a hospital.

Girish comes home with a pandit to select the suitable time for marriage. Girish informs Manav that he could choose to get married later in the week or after 20 days. Manav is in a quandary: in case Archana refuses to marry again how will he stop his own marriage. Will Manav and Archana unite?
