Moropant and Chimnabai faint after eating tampered food in the March 9 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV.

Maharani Sahiba informs Aaishree that Manu wishes to be friends with Chimnabai. This infuriates Aaishree and she confronts Manu. When Aaishree confronts Manu as to how could she forget the fact that Chimnabai's father Shivram tried to kill Gangadhar Rao, Manu pleads ignorance.

Just then, Maitri informs Aaishree that Shivram has arrived at their palace searching for Chimnabai. She also informs that Shivram wants to meet Manu. This angers Aaishree as Manu just said she doesn't know Shivram.

Aaishree meets Shivram. Shivram asks where her daughter is. Aaishree says she doesn't know about it. A servant informs that a young girl (Chimnabai) is lying unconscious at Durgabai Wada.

At Durgabai Wada, Moropant regains consciousness. He tries to wake up Chimnabai. Aaishree observes Moropant with Chimnabai. She feels Moropant had tried to get intimate with Chimnabai. She doesn't allow Moropant to explain.

Aaishree informs Manu that Moropant was found in a compromising position with Chimnabai. Manu is shocked. Aaishree feels now nobody can save her relation with Gangadhar Rao.

What will be Gangadhar Rao's opinion?

In the March 8 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Manu lies to Aaishree that she has understood that a woman's role is to look after her husband and provide a successor for the family.

Guruji Maharaj advises Gangadhar Rao to take steps to protect Jhansi from the British. With the help of his powers, Guruji predicts that enemy has already entered Gangadhar Rao's palace.

Maharani Sahiba is surprised to see Khanvalkar's daughter in the palace. She decides to reveal to Aaishree about it. Maharani Sahiba is sure Aaishree will get angry as Khanvilkar was accused of attempting to murder Gangadhar Rao.

Khanvilkar's daughter informs Manu that Moropant hasn't eaten anything. Manu prepares meal and asks Khanvilkar's daughter to give it to Moropant. Just then, Maharani Sahiba arrives. Secretly, Maharani Sahiba's servant mixes something in the meal because he believes Khanvilkar's daughter will eat the food.

Aishree is shocked on discovering that Manu is an expert at using weapons in the March 5 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV. Feeling that such things do not suit a queen, Aishree tries to make Manu promise that she will never touch a weapon in her life. But a defiant Manu refuses to bow down to Aishree's demand.

Moropant watches Aishree behaving harshly with Manu and tries to intervene. However, Aishree makes it clear that it is a family matter and Moropant must not interfere. Moropant questions the decisions he made regarding Manu's life and wonders if he made the right choice by making Manu marry a king.

Manu finds it difficult to cope up with the rude behavior that she is facing from Aishree and questions her about it. Aishree tells Manu that a queen's duty is to take care of her husband and give him an heir for his throne and not indulge in things that interest her.

But Manu feels that a woman must have an identity of her own and makes the decision of not sacrificing her happiness for anyone. Will Manu's decision make Aishree create more problems in her life?
