In the final episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, a severely injured Laxmibai has visions of Aajisaheb, Peshwa Baji Rao, Moropant, Karma, Ghaus Khan and Gangadhar Rao exhorting her to continue the war for freedom.

Meanwhile, British soldiers sneak into the temple.

Gathering her energies, Laxmibai stands upto counter the British. Like goddess Durga, the queen valiantly fights the British.

Capt Mac shoots Laxmibai. Despite the injuries, Laxmibai attacks Capt Mac.

Laxmibai escapes from the temple and stops a passing carriage. Before breathing her last, she asks the carriage driver to ensure no one learnt about her death. The carriage driver honors his promise and cremates the queen of Jhansi. Lord Canning believes Laxmibai to be dead. However, Indians refuse to believe the news and keep the spirit of freedom alive.

In the final episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Capt Mac is stunned by the injury inflicted by Laxmibai. Tatya Tope, Laxmibai and Raghunath take advantage of Capt Mac's condition and escape with the telex messages.

Munder is shot dead while she tries to help Damodar reunite with Laxmibai.

Raghunath decides to distract the British soldiers and asks Tatya Tope to take Laxmibai to a safe place.

Capt Mac is confident he will be able to capture Laxmibai. On noticing Raghunath, he orders his soldiers to shoot him.

Some British soldiers manage to bomb the carriage in which Laxmibai is traveling. An injured Laxmibai asks Tatya Tope to deliver the telex messages to John Lang and ask him to publish it in his newspaper. Both Tatya Tope and Damodar refuse to leave a seriously injured Laxmibai.

British soldiers search Laxmibai's carriage. They fail to find her but are confident Laxmibai could not have gone too far.

Laxmibai forces Tatya Tope and Damodar to leave.

Capt Mac believes that a badly injured Laxmibai will not be able to escape.

Laxmibai, meanwhile, drags herself and hides inside a temple. Will the British find Laxmibai?

In the final episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, fearing that she might be captured by the British, Laxmibai allows her trusted aides to leave if they wanted. Laxmibai is elated when Tatya Tope and Raghunath declare that they would continue fighting for freedom till their last breath.

At the battle field, Laxmibai warns Capt Mac that she would reveal the reality about Queen Victoria to the Indians. Munder and Damodar quietly watch the scenario from a distance.

Dinkar Rao shows Capt Mac the telex messages which he had confiscated. 

Laxmibai is gripped with anxiety on realizing Capt Mac had the telex messages in his possession. Laxmibai leads an attack to recover the messages.

The fire of freedom spreads among Indian soldiers in the British army and rebellion spreads.

To distract Laxmibai's attention, Dinkar Rao threatens to burn the messages. Taking advantage of the diversion, Capt Mac stabs Laxmibai. However, she manages to injure him.

Despite her injuries, Laxmibai manages to get her hands on the messages and also injures Capt Mac. Will Laxmibai defeat Capt Mac?

After defeating Jiyaji Rao Scindia in the June 17 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Rao Sahab is crowned as the new king of Gwalior.

Dinkar Rao apologizes to Rao Sahab and offers to help him in administering the affairs of the kingdom.

Laxmibai has reservations about Rao Sahab's decision to trust Dinkar Rao. Her fears about Rao Sahab come true when he decides to celebrate his victory.

Meanwhile, Dinkar Rao informs Capt Mac about the differences between Laxmibai and Rao Sahab.

Capt Mac along with his army marches towards Gwalior. The British soldiers present in Gwalior rush to Capt Mac's aid.

Raghunath asks Laxmibai to prepare for battle with Capt Mac. Laxmibai exhorts the Indian soldiers in the British army to stop killing their countrymen and to join the freedom struggle.

On seeing Laxmibai, Capt Mac resolves to kill her and challenges her to battle with him.

In the June 16 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Jiyaji Rao Scindia is alarmed on learning from the British message that one of his courtiers was helping the rebels.

Just before Raja Bahadur can reveal the truth to the Gwalior King, Dinkar Rao manages to accuse him of working against the interests of Gwalior. Raja Bahadur is arrested and imprisoned.

Laxmibai and Tatya Tope are surprised when they learn that Jiyaji Rao Scindia declares a war on them.

Lord Canning warns Capt Mac that he must take advantage of the battle between Laxmibai and Jiyaji Rao Scindia's army. He orders Capt Mac to kill Laxmibai.

Laxmibai and Jiyaji Rao Scindia's armies clash. In the midst of the battle, the British battalion also joins the battle on the side of the Gwalior army.

Laxmibai manages to defeat Jiyaji Rao Scindia. She tells the King that not only had he lost the battle but also respect. She allows Jiyaji Rao Scindia and Dinkar Rao to leave. Will Jiyaji Rao Scindia team up with the British?
