Indira again buys a lottery ticket with the hope that it would change the fortune of her family after her death.
She gets surprised on learning that Mandira has prepared well for her examination. She, however, is unaware that Mandira had purchased the examination question papers.
Indira and Munna get shocked on learning from Jhumpa that the residents of Chandni Chowk were suffering from food poisoning after consuming sweets from Inder's shop. Indira and Munna rush to the shop.
Meanwhile, the residents confront Inder but he refuses the claims. When Kutumb tries to save Inder, the crowd pushes her away. At that time, Indira arrives and asks the crowd to leave Inder. Sharma family gets worried when Jhumpa arrives with the police.
The police inspector informs the Sharma family that he had orders to seal their shop. Indira tries to stop the police but fails. After sealing the shop, the inspector tells Indira that she needs to pay Rs 3 lakh as a penalty in order to restart the shop.
Inder gets furious at Kutumb and holds her responsible for mixing poison in the sweets. He fears that Indira would not transfer Sharma Niwas on his name. Meanwhile, Jhumpa arrives and instigates Inder against Kutumb. She too accuses Kutumb of mixing poison in the sweets.
Jhumpa tries to convince Inder to leave Kutumb and stay along with her. Kutumb pleads to Inder to stay back at Sharma Niwas but fails.
While arguing with Kutumb, a bunch of keys hung on Jhumpa's waist, falls fall down. Meanwhile, Indira arrives and notices the keys. She gets shocked on realizing that they were Inder's shop keys
When Indira confronts Jhumpa, she lies to her that they were her house keys. A furious Indira slaps Jhumpa hard. She realizes that Jhumpa had purposely mixed poison in the sweets.
Indira is about to slap Jhumpa once more when Inder stops her. Indira gets furious as she believes that Inder was supporting Jhumpa and so she asks him to leave Sharma Niwas.
To everyone's surprise, Inder does not support Jhumpa instead hits her with an iron rod. Inder holds Jhumpa responsible for ruining his life and also curses her. He throws her out of the house and announces that he would not see her face again.
Rishi feels upset when he meets a widower who narrates to him how lonely his life was without his wife.
When Rishi returns home, he asks Indira to promise him that she would be with him throughout life. Indira feels hurt as she was soon going to die due brain cancer.
