Maya prays fervently for Maithali's wellbeing in the July 8 episode of Do Saheliyaan - Kismat ki Kathputaliyaan aired on Zee TV. She prays to God to save Maithali in case either the mother or the child has to be saved.

Maya's prayers work wonders. Everyone is happy on hearing the cries of a baby. Bhavri informs that Maithali was also safe and sound. The doctor reveals that it is a miracle that Maithali and her child were safe.

When Anadi meets Maithali, she points out that faith in God can work miracles. Anadi reveals he was scared. The incident increases the love both have for each other.

A month later, Bhavri delivers a baby girl. Everyone is happy. Maithali is surprised to see Bhavri crying. Bhavri reveals it is time for her to leave.

The midwife reveals there were complications in the preganancy and only one could be saved. Bhavri insisted on saving the child. Bhavri reveals that all her life she has only given pain and requests everyone not to cry on her death. Bhavri passes away; plunging everyone in grief. Anadi reminds Maithali of Bhavri's request and asks her not to cry. Pointing at his child and Bhavri's daughter, Anadi says both will have to carry on the legacy of friendship.
