Dharmesh rules the popularity charts at the big DID reunion!
Dance India Dance, this week, has a treat in store for its viewers! The latest episode of DID L'il Masters will see a grand reunion of several popular contestants from the previous seasons of the iconic dance reality show. So, one can look forward to seeing DID dancing sensations
Siddhesh Pai and Vrushali Chavan (Season 1),
Dharmesh Yelande and
Amrita Mitra (Season 2),
Pradeep Gurung,
Paul Marshal and winner
Rajasmita (Season 3) join forces with the super-talented L'il Masters and bring the house down with one stellar dance act after another in this grand celebration of dance.
Undisputedly, Dharmesh “Sir” from Baroda continues to be the most sought-after former contestant of the show, with practically all the kids of the current season and even his other fellow contestants looking up to him as a role model and a dance professional whose career path and body of work they would like to emulate. Even Geeta Ma, under whose tutelage, Dharmesh grew from strength to strength during the second season of DID, had only glowing words of praise for Dharmesh.
The highlights of this special episode include a mind-blowing group act by Prince, Dharmesh and Raghav, representing the three seasons of DID in their own trademark styles. So you have Prince locking and popping his way through
Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Dharmesh moving like only he can to his famous flute piece and Raghav dazzling the audience with his inimitable “slow-mo” stride! Each of the current contestants joined these seniors in fabulous acts that drew all-round applause and appreciation. L'il Shalini's pairing with Vrushali in a fiery Laavni to the popular chartbusters from Natrang literally brought the house down while l'il Tanay was gallant as a young prince charming opposite Amrita in the ballroom number 'Main Agar Kahoon' from Om Shanti Om. What took the cake was Geeta Kapur's sporting jig to
Sheila Ki Jawani at the behest of all her favorite
bacchas. After all, when the “Big Momma of Dance” moves, others can only stop and stare with dropped jaws!
