The star attractions included actors Gurmeet Chaudhary alongside Gaurav Chopra, Nandish Sandhu, Kinshuk Mahajan, Narayani Shastri, Rupal Tyagi, Gulki Joshi and Ankit Gera dancing up a storm for Bappa! On the day of the shoot for 'Pavitra Rishta Ganesh Chaturthi', however, actor Gurmeet Chaudhary had to back out at the last minute due to personal reasons, leaving the team stumped for a solution! At a complete loss over finding a replacement at the last minute, the team made frantic calls to actors across town, hoping against hope that a popular star would agree to shake a leg in the special episode in place of Gurmeet. Particularly given that the episode was being shot into the wee hours of the morning, the team had little or no hopes of finding a suitable star and was almost about to cancel the act. Much to the relief of the producer, it was the dashing Ravi Dubey who came to the rescue as he agreed to be a part of the episode and arrived at the studio within hours of a call made to him, without as much as discussing monies.
“Ravi was literally our midnight hero. With Gurmeet having to back out of the episode at the last minute, it seemed like an uphill task having to find a replacement at such a late hour. Taking a huge load off our shoulders, Ravi was the perfect actor to work with. Unlike many actors who we work with, he didn't have any issues with either the act that was choreographed or the costume that was designed for him. He was also at the studio well before the designated time to get in a quick rehearsal for his act. Ravi Dubey is a creative team's dream come true!” said a source from the sets.
The exciting episode will see evergreen Jitendra making an appearance on the show and partaking in a Ganesh maha aarti. The key actors of Pavitra Rihsta Hiten Tejwani, Ankita Lokhande, Rithwik Dhanjani and Asha Negi will be seen performing not only dance acts but Ganesh vandana and Ganesh Visarjan in this special episode.
Tune into 'Pavitra Rishta Ganesh Chaturthi' episode at 7:30 PM on Saturday, 22nd September for an extravaganza of stars, dance and Ganesh Bhakti!
